The retaining screws at 6 o'clock are staked to prevent them from backing out. Use a screwdriver and hammer to clean the peen material from the screw slot and then remove the screw.

Once the screw is removed the tappet assembly can be removed. Slight pressure or a smart rap with the screwdriver handle on the tappet may be needed to back the assembly out. Installation is the reverse.
