Maintenance Schedule |
500 km's | 1. Engine/gearbox/final
drive; change oil and replace filter*.
2. Clean gas tank petcock filter. 3. Check carburetor synchronization. 4. Check wheel spoke tension. 5. Check ALL fasteners for tightness. 6. Check steering column bearing adjustment. 7. Check for proper torque of cylinder head nuts. 8. Adjust valves. 9. Check engine timing. |
Necessary on new or rebuilt drive components only. |
2,500 km's | 1. Change engine oil &
filter. 2. Check gearbox & final drive oil levels. 3. Inspect air filter element. 4. Check ALL fasteners for tightness. 5. Check steering column bearing adjustment. 6. Check all wheels for proper bearing adjustment. |
2,500 km's is the normal service interval. Heavy duty use or operations in areas of extreme heat, cold or dust require a shorter maintenance interval. |
5,000 km's | 1. Change engine oil &
filter. 2. Check gearbox & final drive oil levels. 3. Inspect air filter element. 4. Check ALL fasteners for tightness. 5. Adjust steering column bearings. 6. Check wheel spoke tension. 7. Clean gas tank petcock filter. 8. Check carburetor synchronization. 9. Lubricate all cables, hinges and linkages. 10. Check brake adjustment. 11. Check tire tread depth. |

Clean gas tank petcock filter. 8. Check carburetor synchronization. 9. Lubricate all cables, hinges and linkages. 10. Check brake adjustment. 11. Check tire tread depth. 12. Check for proper torque of cylinder head nuts. 13. Adjust valves. 14. Check engine timing. 15. Replace spark plugs. 16. Repack wheel bearing grease. 17. Grease brake shoe pivot points/cams. 18. Grease drive splines. 19. Check toe-in and camber of rig. 20. Check battery condition. |
